Mediation is a good option for couples to avoid bad blood
Divorce mediation is a very good solution to the problem of dissolution. Many couples are concerned with privacy, and time, both of which are good choices for mediation. But there is another very good reason to mediate - to avoid the bitterness that often comes with court proceedures.

THE FORECAST is divorce for NBC-10 meteorologist Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz.
Schwartz yesterday confirmed rumors that he and Wynette, his wife of 23 years, have been living apart for about three months.
"We're in divorce mediation," the bow-tie-wearing weathercaster told us. "We're trying to do it as peacefully and privately as possible."
Schwartz, 55, and Wynette, 56, both said yesterday that no third parties were involved in the split.
"We're trying to have an amicable divorce. I'd rather come out as friends," said Wynette, an Alabama native who met Schwartz while both were living in Atlanta.
The couple are selling their Merion home, and Schwartz is moving into an apartment next week.
During their separation, we're told, NBC-10 has been paying to put Schwartz up in a hotel. He would not comment on that situation, and neither would NBC-10.
